Write to support@pipeguard.app — a real person reads it, usually answering within two business days.

What to include

The app version (Settings → the version line at the bottom), your phone model, and what you expected to happen. In Settings there is Send feedback, which attaches the app version, the platform and the in-app log to the message — it tells you exactly what is being sent before it goes.

The evening warning did not arrive

Notifications are scheduled by the phone itself, so a phone that was switched off cannot receive them — the app states this during setup. Battery optimisation on some Android phones can also delay them; the app is listed in Settings as an exception.

How is the risk calculated?

From the forecast minimum temperature, hours below freezing, wind, and the answers you gave about the house. Thresholds are deliberately conservative: when in doubt, drip.

Is this a guarantee?

No. It is guidance based on a forecast and your answers, not a promise about your pipes.

Refunds

Purchases are handled by the store, so refunds are requested there: on Android through Google Play (Order history → Report a problem), on iOS through Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com). If a refund is refused and you believe the app is at fault, write to us anyway — we would rather refund you than argue.

Privacy

What the app does with data is written out in full on the privacy page.
